Melting Cottage

Here are a few more melting ice pictures from the cottage.

More GuynS action

Here are a few more of GuynS running and bring the ball back. Few more than usual since they are getting similar!

Dog Walk

Here are the last couple of pictures from the "Dog Walking" trails (aka skidoo trails). The second image I found particularly neat since GuynS and I went off trail into the new snow and looking back all you could see that was disturbed was footprints, side by side, of GuynS and I.

Here are a few winter Icicle images from the cottage a couple of weeks back ...

Skidoo Trails

I am behind in my photo editing and posting. Way behind. I still have images from Punta Cana, images from the cottage during reading week, images from the walks before that, and images from my trip to San Diego. Some I have already edited, some I haven't, but lets try and turn this to the positive. Instead of sticking with one theme (trip) for a long period of time, I think I will rotate. Starting with dog walks today, then the cottage, then the San Diego trip, then back to dog walks (rinse and repeat).

These two images are a couple of pictures of the neat walking spot that I found (for the winter). These skidoo trails make for a relatively quite walking spot for GuynS and I. Unfortunately, with the 20+ degree Celcius weather we've been having, I guess I need to find a new spot until next winter.

Gatineau Winter

Here are the last two landscape images from this weeks trials with the 7D. The first image below was one that I was really excited to get back and edit up. It is an HDR focused on the leaf and I just love how it turned out. The second image is a Panorama from the Gatineau (left) to Ottawa (right) from that same island that I've been mentioning lately.

Then he said, "Leaf me alone!"

Hoop Dreams and Ice Flows

Here are the next two images from Gatineau/Aylmer. The second one is from that same Island, mentioned two posts ago, between Gatineau and Ottawa. My attraction to this image was the patterns in the ice.

Bridges and Beaches

I know I know, the beach in the second picture isn't as nice as the one that I was posting earlier from Punta Cana, but hey, what can you do? I found these next two images quite interesting for the sole reason that they aren't at all what we are used to seeing them with. Obviously this comes from the seasons. The bridge seems to be lacking something, and in this case, running water. For the second image, it takes a couple of moments to realise what the chair is since we don't associate a lifeguard chair with a frozen river. -> I <- think this makes the images all that more interesting ... but maybe that is just me.
