GuynS in the Yard

Guess what ... it has been way too long since I haven't posted a picture of GuynS, so here we go!

Action Montage

Getting tired of watching GuynS jump off the dock at the cottage? Well that seemed to be the bulk of my shots from that weekend! Don't worry though, this is the last post in this series of GuynS leaping. There are a few more wildlife and landscape shots to come though ...

The three images below are one in the same. I wanted to put together a series of beginning to end of GuynS' leaps. Unfortunately, I found that a couple of those images deserved some face time of their own. Below is the montage of four images and two on which I loved his body language / expressions.

The second image below is my favourite since it has spot on focus and since GuynS is 100% focused directly on me / the camera. The third image below is SLIGHTLY off on the focus but I loved the expression on his face and the placement of the ears.

A Leap and A Cackle

As promised here is another one of the the famous flying GuynS and the second one is of him looking a little to happy with himself!

GuynS Leaping Off the Dock

For the next few posts we can finally move away from the Papanack Zoo and back to cottage pictures from this summer. I hope you like animal action shots because the next few posts are of GuynS leaping off of the dock!

GuynS has a Friend

One of the good things about last weekend's trip up to the cottage is that GuynS had an opportunity to play with several friends. This is one of the (rare) times that he they were seen sharing!

Flying GuynS

This weekend we ended up putting a floating dock into the lake. One of the really fun parts of this was teaching / convincing GuynS to jump off the end into the water. The fun thing about showing GuynS to jump off the dock is getting pictures of it!!

More of GuynS

Here are some more images of GuynS which have been delayed being posted. These ones are back from February.

Protector of the Cottage

I have a lot of pictures of GuynS. These two I thought were at least a little bit unique for the cottage. Two different looks with the same perspective for the puppy.

More GuynS action

Here are a few more of GuynS running and bring the ball back. Few more than usual since they are getting similar!

Playing with the Puppy

We are not the only ones who enjoyed the cottage. Another great advantage of spending some time there was to play with GuynS until he couldn't move anymore! Here are a couple of images of the puppy! One of my favourite games with him was to toss the ball into the deep deep loose snow and take pictures of him fighting his way through. The second one was quite amusing!

Two More Portraits of GuynS at the Cottage

Here are another couple of images of GuynS at the cottage. It is fun having him around when I am there since he is a subject who really doesn't mind me always snapping off pictures of him (well ... maybe he does but he doesn't say anything!). As any animal owner knows, they are there willing, and addicting to take pictures of!

Dog Portraits in the Fog

A few weekends back there was a nice foggy morning at the cottage. Most morning images at the cottage are landscape mornings (Ok this one was too ... but they are coming in a couple of days) but this morning I got a few good images of GuynS. The foggy background on the lake gives the portrait something that they usually don't have. All the other portraits that I have of GuynS have a fairly if not completely plain background (including the two coming up tomorrow!).

Dog Portraits at the Park

It feels like it has been forever since I haven't had the opportunity to get out to the dog park and get some pictures of GuynS. For the horizontal one, I had fun getting as close to the ground as I could while Marie-Eve kept his attention with a giant frisbee! All in all, these couple of images will make a decent change from landscapes up here as well.
