Oh the Life of a Cat

After a long period of time without picking up the camera I finally had the chance to take a few pictures. This is my favourite of the bunch. Here our cat Sobe relaxes in the late winter sun just inside the patio door. Just outside door, almost making you pity him, is our dog, GuynS. Oh the life of a cat!

Dog Portraits at the Park

It feels like it has been forever since I haven't had the opportunity to get out to the dog park and get some pictures of GuynS. For the horizontal one, I had fun getting as close to the ground as I could while Marie-Eve kept his attention with a giant frisbee! All in all, these couple of images will make a decent change from landscapes up here as well.

Negative Space

There is something appealing about an image with large amounts of negative space.  Maybe it is because we are used to seeing a lot of detail in an image. Maybe it is because it enhances the small amount of detail that is available in the image. All I know is that there is something in these two negative space images of GuynS at the chalet that have a little something special I can't put my finger on. What do you think? You can see the rest of the images from the Chalet on new years day (and the couple of days after) on Flickr.
