Grad Ball Portraits

As promised, this post has nothing to do with waterfalls (even though I may have a couple more to come). Here are a couple of images that are long overdue (~3 weeks). Before the RMC grad ball I did another quick portrait session (in the same style as the Christmas Ball setup). This was essentially a seamless white portrait with one off camera flash illuminating the background and one 'umbrella-ed' portrait light in the upper left. Here are three of the resulting images. More will probably follow.

Coffee. Some people just can't start the morning without it. It is almost put on a religious level by some. In fact, if you consult Google on the subject, using Google Trends,  it will tell you that in fact coffee is searched for 1.62 times more often (the red line) than religion is (blue line). That has to tell you something (I neglected the fact that coffee is googled 0.83 times as much as "Jesus" ... but it is still pretty close).

So ... what sort of image can portray this sort of presence. The image below is the idea that I had. If we are treating coffee like this, maybe this is what we expect to see when we open the tab of a fresh Timmy's coffee in the morning. All in all ... this was fun to do too!
