Zoé and Family

C'était sincèrement un vrai plaisir de passer mon après-midi à photographier la belle Zoé et sa famille au Centre De La Nature du Mont St-Hilaire. Une belle randonnée en poussette tout en prenant de belles photos avec une superbe famille! Merci beaucoup.

It was honestly my pleasure to spend the afternoon shooting images of Zoé and her family in the 'Centre De La Nature' in Mont St-Hilaire. We had a great stroller hike while doing the photo session with this amazing family. Thanks a ton!

Here are some of my favourites from the shoot. The whole set can be seen on FlickR here or by clicking through the album at the end of this post (hover over and click on the arrows on either side of the image):

Icy Portraits

Places like this are always unique, neat ways of getting a quick portrait. The image here is an exceptionally cool fluke of nature to get an icy photo frame to surround my "subjects" (my in-laws).

Portrait Experience

Here is an example of probably the best portrait photography that I have done so far (in my opinion). Needless to say I was helped a little by the amazing scenery and photogenic kids! These were all done outside with a single off camera flash. Hopefully I'll have some more stuff for you after the weekend.

Grad Ball Portraits

As promised, this post has nothing to do with waterfalls (even though I may have a couple more to come). Here are a couple of images that are long overdue (~3 weeks). Before the RMC grad ball I did another quick portrait session (in the same style as the Christmas Ball setup). This was essentially a seamless white portrait with one off camera flash illuminating the background and one 'umbrella-ed' portrait light in the upper left. Here are three of the resulting images. More will probably follow.
