Food Fight

You know, whenever a food fight breaks out, I always take the side of the carrot. This was another fun picture to play with. In fact, the image was made for the DIY photography blog's first "bag-o-goodies" assignment. The only thing necessary in all the assignments, is that one of the techniques discussed at diyphotography.net be implemented in each category (in this case, food). I tried out the "technique" to be used in the floating apple image posted earlier, but wanted something a little more for the actual assignment. Anyways, all of the entries, which are due in on Sunday, should show up in this flickr search. Let me know what you think!

The Magic Floating Apple

You know those green apples always have to be different. You have to not only be good with a camera for a picture like this, but also a knife. You have to be fast enough to cut the apple (in place in the bowl) and take the picture as soon as all the cuts have been made! What do you mean you don't buy that? How else am I supposed to do that? I'm sure the method is apparent to some of you, but it make take a couple minutes to figure it out for others. Even if the answer is simple, it was still fun playing with this one!
